AND AT FIRST HERE WAS THE PLACE TO SPEAK ABOUT THE BOOKS DEDICATED TO HER.
BUT SHE HAS INSPIRED MORE THAN WRITERS, SHE HAS INSPIRED HER FANS...
AND THAT'S JUST WHAT MUSES ARE SUPPOSED TO DO.

What a nice thing to say. Well, the site was a lot of hard work. The inspiration of Martin Kappinga, I collaborated with him to make it what it is - a very beautiful tribute to a truly great star. We are both very proud of it.

And Martin told me how you worked together on the site,
and i know it was hard work, and a looong process of creation

That's nice. Well, Martin did most of the hard work but we were a good team. Even though the formal split was between the technical stuff and the writing we did genuinely collaborate on both with Martin giving me constructive feedback on draft text and me to him on colours etc. I hope we can do some more work on the site very soon.

Yes, of course, Martin made the little videos - but what you may not know is that he coloured each frame by hand. They are SO cute, I just adore them. My role was to help come up with a structure for the site then I wrote all the text. I also contributed a lot of the photos. When I find a good black and white photo that I think would look good in colour, I send it to Martin to see what he thinks. Over the years, i've got to know what is needed. As I say, we a re a good team.

What's coming is ALL Martin's work - all I did was negotiate use of the images (that's the last clue you're getting).

In this case, yes, because they are very clearly copyrighted - but otherwise, we assume them to be in the public domain.

That is entirely up to Martin, I'm afraid. I've done my bit. The last time I spoke to him he seemed ready to publish the new page but I've not heard anything since.
