THE "MAE WEST IN DECEMBER" LP IS A RE-RELEASED OF IT RIGHT?!

How rare are these Lps?!

I mean This one in particular ("Wild Christmas"), is always very expensive on ebay.
(as it is my main source to buy items, i'll always refer to it lol)
and always in a so-so condition...

Does someone know the how, why, she recorded it?!
How did she got the idea for it?!
